While I understand the frustration, I think it would be useful to educate them about the symbol they’re wearing rather than getting angry. Some people just don’t know, but appreciate the beauty of it. They might think it’s pretty cool, and become more interested in Wicca as a result.
Sometimes I feel similarly about frivolous Buddhist jewelry or ornaments… Why cling to expensive Buddhist accessories? Isn’t that contrary to the point? Are they caring more about the appearance of being a Buddhist than the practice? But then I figure it’s probably better to focus on my own practice, rather than judging someone else’s.
